a Saudi Arabian national who stabbed another man to death in an argument was beheaded. Mashari Bin Ali al-Balwy was executed in the northern city of Tabuk, the Saudi Interior Ministry said.
A Sylhet court on May 6, 2025 sentenced three individuals, including the son of the victim, to death for the brutal 2011 murder of veteran lawyer Shamsul Islam Chowdhury. Another accused in the case received a three-year prison sentence.
