IRAN. MAN HANGED IN PUBLIC FOR MURDER

24 May 2006 :

an Iranian man convicted of murder was hanged in public in the southern town of Jahrom.
The man identified as Mehdi, 33, was hanged at an intersection in Jahrom, Fars province, while 4,000 people gathered to watch the execution.
