According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was executed in Gorgan Central Prison on the morning of 12 May. His identity has been established as 42-year-old Nasser Langarani.
An informed source told IHR: “Nasser Langarani was the father of one child and had been arrested around three years ago on murder charges.”
At the time of writing, state media and official sources in Iran have not reported Nasser Langarani’s execution.
