Drug traffickers after being executed in Iran

Iran hanged four convicted drug smugglers in a prison in the eastern town of Tabas, the Kayhan newspaper reported.
The men, identified as Ali Abestan, Ali Dehqani, Ali Damshad and Mahmoud Moradi, were sent to the gallows about two years after they were arrested following armed clashes with Iranian police.
A number of Kalshnikovs were seized along with ammunition and 1,400 kilos (about 3,000 pounds) of narcotics, it said.
