two death row inmates were hanged in two different jails. Amjad Ali was executed in Gujranwala’s Central Jail for murdering his friend Khalil Ahmad in July 1998. A triple murder convict was executed at the Central Jail in Sahiwal. Abdul Qayyum had shot dead his sister Sultana Bibi, niece Yasmin and brother’s wife Kaniza Bibi in 1999.(Sources: Dunya News and aaj.tv, 19/08/2015)
