May 4, 2025 - IRAN. Hassan Mirzaei executed in Zanjan on May 4
At dawn on May 4, 2025, Hassan Mirzaei, a Kurdish man from Kangavar, was executed in Zanjan Central Prison. Mirzaei had been arrested four years ago on drug-related charges. As of the time of this report, authorities have not publicly announced the execution.
