The Hanoi Court Order Execution Council executed death row prisoner Dinh Van Mao at the Cau Nga Shooting Ground. Mao, born 1947, was condemned for drug trafficking. The president rejected his amnesty application on February 12.(Sources: `An Ninh Thu Do' monitored by BBC, 27/03/2000)
