June 17, 2026 - IRAN. Aref Barahouyi (Eiduzehi) executed in Zobol on June 17

According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Zabol (Taghazi) Prison on 17 June 2026. His identity has been established as Aref Barahouyi (Eiduzehi), a 34-year-old Baluch father of three from Zahedan. He was arrested around four years ago on drug-related charges.

At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
