Iran has hanged two convicted drug traffickers in the eastern city of Zabol, local media reported, without specifying if the hangings had been carried out in public or in prison.
The Uganda Prisons Service has confirmed that the country currently has 93 inmates on death row, while reiterating that no executions have been carried out since 1999, Nile Post reported on June 11, 2026.
