June 15, 2026 - IRAN. Bilal Saadat Jahani executed in Birjand on June 15

According to reports received by Hengaw, Bilal Saadat Jahani (Gargij), a 35-year-old Baloch man from Azadshahr in Golestan Province, was executed at dawn on June 15, 2026, in Birjand Central Prison. The execution was carried out without prior notice to his family and without granting him a final visit.

Sources told Hengaw that Jahani, who was married and the father of three children, was arrested in Birjand in 2023 on charges related to drug offenses.

The execution has not been announced by Iranian state media.
