January 26, 2026 - IRAN. 10 men executed on January 26
At dawn on January 26, 2026, the death sentences of 10 prisoners were carried out in various prisons.
Based on information received by HRANA, the following men were executed on January 26:
- Javad Sha’bani in Nowshahr Prison, on murder charges;
- Ehsan Kamareh’i in Neyshabur Prison, on murder charges;
- Mohammad Gharacheh in Zanjan Prison, on murder charges;
- Saeid Ghasemi in Saveh Prison, on murder charges;
- Ashkan Khodayari in Isfahan Prison, on murder charges;
- 1 unidentified man in Isfahan Prison, on murder charges;
- Rahman Nobakht in Gorgan Prison, on murder charges;
- Saman Sarlak in Dorud Prison, on murder charges;
- Amir Hossein Faghani in Kashan Prison on drug charges;
- Dariush Mehrani in Kerman Prison on drug charges.
Further details, including the identity of the other prisoner executed in Isfahan Prison, are still under investigation.
As of the time of this report, these executions have not been officially announced by authorities.
