a welder and a car wash worker were sentenced to death by the High Court in Malaysia for trafficking in 6kg of cannabis. Judge Datuk Mohd Zawawi Salleh said the evidence adduced by the prosecution showed there was a series of meetings between the accused and police undercover agents and they had offered to sell drugs.He found K. Nanda Kumar and M. Poobalan, both 30, of Kulai, guilty of jointly trafficking in the drugs in front of the Apollo Hotel in Jalan Nakhoda 7, Taman Ungku Tun Aminah at 8pm on Aug 24, 2003.
