Iranian authorities have executed Mohammad Abiyat, a 27-year-old Arab man from Ahvaz. According to information received by Hengaw, Abiyat's death sentence was carried out in the early hours of Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Sepidar Prison. Sources familiar with the case told Hengaw that Abiyat was arrested three years ago following a dispute that resulted in the death of an individual.
Iranian state media have not reported the execution.
