Over the course of on February 8 and 9, at least 20 people were executed in various prisons across Iran.
The names of those executed are as follows:
On February 8:
- Khaled Hosseini – Nowshahr Prison (murder charges),
- Mehdi Jafarian – Ardabil Prison (murder charges),
- Abbas Khordbin – Semnan Prison (murder charges),
- Shah Mirza Ghaedrahmati – Borujerd Prison (murder charges),
- Rahman Najafi – Arak Prison (drug charges),
- Nezam Tajik, an Afghan national – Bandar Abbas Prison (drug charges),
- Younes Bagheri – Tabriz Prison (drug charges),
- Parsa Taghizadeh – Qazvin Prison (drug charges),
- Danial Abdi – Qom Prison (drug charges),
- Hamid Kariyabi – Naein Prison (drug charges).
On February 9:
- Shayan Tojihi – Qaemshahr Prison (murder charges),
- Rouzbeh Amanatdoust – Quchan Prison (murder charges),
- Mohammad Zalitabar – Gorgan Prison (murder charges),
- Abedin Ahmadi – Neyshabur Prison (murder charges),
- Mohsen Rezaei – Dorud Prison (murder charges),
- Karim Javadi – Zanjan Prison (murder charges),
- Shahla Dowlatabadi – Kerman Prison (murder charges),
- Hooshang Shokouhi – Saveh Prison (murder charges),
- Keyvan Akbari – Isfahan Prison (drug charges),
- Seyed Ali Kalami – Kashan Prison (drug charges).
