At dawn on October 19, 2025, the death sentences of Saadi Minaei, 39, from Qazvin, and Mohammad Ebrahimi, 31, from Herat, Afghanistan, were carried out in Qazvin Central Prison.
Minaei had been sentenced to death four years earlier on drug-related charges, while Ebrahimi had been sentenced three years ago on charges of murder.
According to informed sources, Ebrahimi’s execution was carried out in secret, without granting him the right to a final meeting with his family.
State media outlets have not reported these executions.
