According to information obtained by Hengaw, Zeynab Khodabandeh and Sobhan Safinezhad, both convicted on drug-related charges, were executed at Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan on October 13, 2025.
According to NCRI, the executed men could be 3. No further details have been released, and as of the time of this report, the execution have not been officially announced by authorities.
With the execution of Zeynab Khodabandeh, the number of women executed in Iran since the beginning of 2025 has reached 40. According to data recorded by the Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, at least 303 women have been executed in Iran since 2007.
