The Utah legislature has approved and sent to the Governor SB 30, a bill that would expand the state's death penalty to include the killing of first responders as an aggravating circumstance. The House and Senate concurred on amendments to the bill on March 7, and the bill was officially "enrolled" for final printing on March 15.
