The House Judiciary Committee voted 15-4 to reject HB 338. The bill would require indisputable DNA or video proof of a person's guilt in a capital crime before the defendant could be sentenced to death.

The House Judiciary Committee voted 15-4 to reject HB 338. The bill would require indisputable DNA or video proof of a person's guilt in a capital crime before the defendant could be sentenced to death.
The Knesset’s National Security Committee, chaired by Zvika Fogel, approved on November 3, 2025 the first reading of a bill proposing the death penalty for perpetrators of terrorist attacks.
