The Thonburi Criminal Court sentenced to death a Ukrainian woman for having 1.29 kilograms of heroin in possession with intent to sell. Victoria Mamentova, 26, a medical student, was arrested in September 28, 2000 in her apartment in Khlong San district where police found 13 lumps of heroin hidden in the ceiling.
