On June 21, Phan Saithong, 34, and Samruay Tosuk, 41, were executed by machine gun at Bang Khwang prison. Phan Saithong, 34, was found guilty of the rape and murder of 5-year-old Supansa Cherdchu in a nursery school toilet in western Bangkok in July 1996; while Tosuk was condemned to death for killing and robbing Phra Kru Wimolsri Rapirat, a 73-year-old Buddhist monk, in the central province of Singburi in February 1994.
Rawalpindi Additional District and Sessions Judge Raja Faisal Rasheed on April 30, 2024 delivered the verdict in the murder case involving nine women and young girls from the same family residing in the limits of Chauntra police station.
