At dawn on Feb. 19, Marco Cochi, 60, an important friend of Cain, died in Rome. A multi-talented expert on Africa (not coincidentally a longtime contributor to the crucial Combonians' magazine "Nigrizia"), he had written several books in recent years on the development of jihadism, a subject that Europe neglects but that Cochi's highly detailed analyses, often shared with Cain and Radio Radicale, illustrated in its troubling developments.
We thank him for his constant contribution of knowledge, wisdom, foresight, and courage.
And, most of all, for his friendship.
