December 28, 2023 - Unnamed man executed in Yazd on December 28.
State media have reported the execution of an unnamed man for murder in Yazd Central Prison. According to the Judiciary’s Mizan news agency, a man was executed in Yazd Central Prison on 28 December. The man was sentenced for murder.
He is alleged to have killed the keeper at the petrol station in Mehriz for refusing him petrol beyond the permitted amount around three years ago.
