Two people were hanged in Kerman (southeast of Iran) and Aran-Bigdel (province of Isfahan, Central Iran) according to the official Iranian media.
The semi-official Iranian daily Kayhan reported that one person was hanged in the town of Aran-Bigdel convicted of drug trafficking. The report didn’t the person’s name and age, and whether he/she was executed in public or inside the prison.
According to the official website of the Iranian judiciary in Kerman, a man identified as "Majid Sh." was hanged in the prison of Kerman. The man was convicted of rape in 2007 according to the report.
