Three men were hanged in the Karoun prison of Ahvaz, southwest of Iran, in the morning, according to the official web site of the Iranian judiciary in Khuzestan.According to this report, two of those executed who were identified as "K. Sh." and "M. Kh." were convicted of drug trafficking while the third person identified as "H. D." was sentenced to death and executed convicted of "acts against the chastity" a term used for "immoral acts" according to the Iranian judiciary.
