According to Iran HRM, a prisoner, identified as Raman Mohammad Amini, was hanged in the prison of the city of Bandar Abbas (Tohid Prison) on January 20. The man was 28, and had been sentenced for murder.

According to Iran HRM, a prisoner, identified as Raman Mohammad Amini, was hanged in the prison of the city of Bandar Abbas (Tohid Prison) on January 20. The man was 28, and had been sentenced for murder.
A former senior executive at major Chinese state-owned power company Datang Group on April 1st, 2026 was sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve over corruption-related charges, according to state media reports.
