Execution in public. Execution in public for two offenders charged with killing an intelligence agent in Isfahan.
The decree of “execution in public” was issued for two offenders, charged with the murder of Ehsan Nassiri, in Lanjan County. The sentence states that the two will be hanged at the place of incident.
Javanehha, quoting Tabnak state-run news website- On Sunday, March 7, 2022, the citizens, Mohammad Q., 38, and Sadeq M., 25, were sentenced to death (execution in public) by branch No.1 of Isfahan Revolutionary Court on charge of murdering an intelligence agent.
According to the report the judge presiding the court in Fooladshahr, Isfahan, Massoudifar, noted that the execution in public of the two has been issued by branch No.1 of Isfahan Revolutionary Court and branch No.1 of the province’s Criminal Court and added: “These citizens are charged with killing Ehsan Nassiri an intelligence officer in Lanjan County, in a clash.”
Adding that the issuance of this sentence, execution in public, by the judiciary took place in no time, Massoudifar said: “By the law, the sentence can be appealed in a due time. If the defendants or their lawyer protest the sentence, the case will be sent to the Supreme Court for further legal process.”
The executions take place at the place of the incident.
In mid fall of 2021, Ehsan Nassiri, an intelligence agent of Lanjan County, was killed during a clash in Fooladshahr, Isfahan.
