Heshmat Imani was hanged at Zanjan prison on July 25. According to IHR sources, on the morning of Thursday, July 25, a man was hanged at Zanjan prison. He, identified by IHR as Heshmat Imani, 34, was sentenced to death for “armed drug smuggling.” His execution has not been announced by the Iranian authorities or media so far.
