Iran hanged five people in the central city of Isfahan for drug trafficking, state television's website said. The report did not identify those who were hanged but said the executions were carried out in Isfahan's main prison, without specifying the date of the hangings.
A military criminal court in the town of al-Rai in Aleppo’s countryside on May 22, 2024 issued a death sentence against the suspects involved in the assassination of activist Mohammed Abdul Latif (Abu Ghannoum) and his pregnant wife, about a year and a half ago in the city of al-Bab, eastern Aleppo.
