Ali Ch executed in Mashhad on July 12.
According to Mashregh, a man was executed in Mashhad Central Prison on July 12. His identity has only been revealed as 34-year-old Ali Ch (surname unknown) who was sentenced for the murder of a “senior intelligence police officer.”
Per the report, the executed man had shot Colonel Seyyed Javad Jafarian (then head of the Violent Crime Department of the Khorasan Razavi Intelligence Police) with a hunting rifle and injured his brother in September 2020.
