FRANCE: TEHRAN- STOP GAY EXECUTIONS

France launched a strong appeal to Iran to immediately stop the imminent execution of Iranians sentenced to death for homosexuality.
'We are extremely concerned by the information in the press of the imminent execution of Iranian citizens who were sentenced to death for homosexuality', spokesperson for Foreign Affairs Minister Bernard Valero said.
‘France strongly asks the Iranian authorities to stop these executions that affront our values’, the spokesperson added, reminding that ‘France and all European Union members oppose the death penalty in all circumstances.’
