a death sentence was issued by the Criminal Chamber at the Court of Appeal of Monastir against a 21-year-old man. His crime dates back to March 2015. The convict had gone, accompanied by his two teenage brothers, to a farm located in the Zéramdine area, in the governorate of Monastir. Their goal was to steal what was on the farm but the owners had noticed their presence. The two brothers had fled but as regards the convict, he had resisted the farmer (49 years) and stabbed him. According to Sfax Court spokesman Ferid Ben Haja, the two teenagers were transferred to the Special Chamber for Child Affairs for theft. The twenty-one was condemned to hanging for homicide.
