GHANA: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER
September 15, 2010: A Ho High Court, in Ghana, sentenced Benjamin Deble, an Electrician, and Raymond Agbeve a labourer, to death by hanging for murdering one Shalif Abu, a Taxi Driver.
This followed a unanimous guilty verdict against the two by aÂ seven-member jury after a five-year trial.
The two would also serve 30 years each in jail for conspiracy and robbery to run concurrently before being hanged.
