The HCMC police recaptured on 16 July 2021 morning a death row inmate infected with Covid-19 who had escaped from a high-security prison, the police said.

A 37-year-old man, Adeyemi Morenikeji, on 16 July 2021 was sentenced to death in Oyo State for the killing of Mrs Racheal Ayanwale, his boss’s wife.
