two prisoners sentenced to death were executed in Gachsaran and Yasug prisons, in Iran. A 37 year old man, identified only with the initials S. B., was hanged in Gachsaran for attempting to kill his uncle with a Kalashnikov rifle, injuring two children. The man executed in Yasug prison would be a 44 year old civil engineer.
