Two men were hanged in a prison in the city of Varamin in central Iran. The prisoners were only identified as "Ghassem B" and "Hadi Kh".
The prisoners had been condemned to death and hanged on drug related charges, state-run news agency Fars reported.
The prisoners were hanged in the morning in Khorvin prison in the city of Varamin, the report added.
