Three prisoners were hanged in the prison of Qom (south of Tehran) early this morning, reported the official Iranian news agency IRNA. 
Two of the prisoners were convicted of drug-related charges. One of the prisoners was identified as M. D. charged with possession and trafficking of about 1000 grams of the synthetic drug Crystal. The other prisoner, who according to the report was of Baluchi ethnicity, was identified as “M. K.”, charged with possession of narcotic drugs. This prisoner was sentenced to death along with another prisoner identified as “T. P.” who was executed on March 19, 2014.
The third prisoner who was executed in Qom today was charged with murder and sentenced to “qisas” (retribution). He was identified as “A. D.” charged with a murder in 2010, said the report.
