three friends were sentenced to the gallows by the High Court, Malaysia, for murdering a man four years ago. Judicial commissioner Datuk Zakiah Kassim passed the sentence on Lim Shu Kiat, 23, Choh Yen Leng, 24, and Ooi Chee Weei, 25, who were found guilty of killing Tang Wei Yune, 39, on Nov 27, 2008. Zakiah, in her written judgment, said the prosecution had proven its case beyond reasonable doubt. Twelve prosecution witnesses were called to testify against the accused.
