the Iranian High Court approved the death penalty imposed on a young man convicted of a murder committed while a minor. The young man, Shayan Omidi, who was 16 at the time of the crime, was convicted of involvement in the murder and sentenced to death according to Islamic law.(Sources: www.irandailybrief.com, 21/11/2011)
