THAILAND: WOMAN WHO HAD HUSBAND KILLED GETS DEATH

12 May 2009 :

the Thai Criminal Court sentenced a woman, Khai Suksamphan, to death for purchasing a life insurance policy for her husband Sawaeng Boonmee, a 56-year-old foreman, and then hiring four men to kill him. On May 29, 2008, the four men abducted Sawaeng in Bangkok and stabbed him to death. They stole his mobile phone and 15,000 baht cash, and ran over his body with a car to make his death look like a road accident.
