An individual who had sexually abused and killed a six year old boy was handed the death sentence in Sri Lanka. The sentence was ordered by the Moneragala High Court Judge, Gihan H. Kulathunga. The crime was committed on April 15, 2006 in Buttala. The perpetrator was a thirty-four-year-old resident of Koslanda in Mirisbadda.(Sources: newsfirst.lk, 31/07/2014)
