Six members of the Al-Shabaab militia group were executed on 31 December 2018.
According to Colonel Guhad Mohamud Moalim Omar, one of the Somali security officials in Bardere town, the town’s military court sentenced 6 militants to death and the said Al-Shabaab members were accordingly executed publicly on 31 December on the orders of Somali National Army (SNA) commander, General Indha Qarshe.
