SINGAPORE DEATH ROW CASE: KL URGED TO ACT

14 June 2010 :

a Singapore lawyer who represented a Malaysian sentenced to hang in Singapore for drug trafficking urged the Malaysian government to intervene and take the case to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Lawyer M. Ravi, who is defending 22-year-old Yong Vui Kong, convicted by Singapore's High Court in 2008 of trafficking in 42.27g of heroin.
