Saudi authorities beheaded three citizens after they were convicted of murder in separate cases, the interior ministry announced, raising the number of people executed in August alone to 26 and bringing to 41 the number of executions in 2014.One of the executions took place in the port city of Jizan, where Moussa bin Muqliz Zafri was beheaded for stabbing to death Yehya bin Nashib Hamdi over a dispute between them.
The second execution took place in the city of Najran, where Naji Al Mutlaq was beheaded for the murder of fellow tribesman Abdulhadi Al Mutlaq, also with a machine gun.
The third execution took place in Medina, where Nawaf al-Mutairi was beheaded for the machine-gun killing of fellow Saudi Adel al-Harbi in a dispute.
