a man dubbed the Qatif rapist was sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia for raping over 100 women in 2006 and blackmailing many of his victims by recording the attacks on video. The Qatif General Court passed the death sentence. The ruling has been passed to the Supreme Court for ratification.(Sources: Arab News, 20/01/2010)
