Saudi Arabia beheaded in public a man,

20 January 2012 :

a Saudi man was beheaded by the sword in Riyadh for murder. Salman al-Ghamedi was found guilty of stabbing to death another Saudi, Ahmed al-Qahtani, following a dispute.
