PAKISTAN TWO LJ MEN GET DEATH PENALTY

the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Karachi, Pakistan, handed the death penalty to two activists of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi group in a sectarian killing case.
ATC Judge Haq Nawaz Baloch acquitted the third co-accused, Akram Lahori. Mohammad Ajmal alias Akram Lahori, Mohammad Azam and Attaullah were prosecuted for killing Sadiq Ali, a bakery owner from Kharadar, on Feb 3, 2002. The defence announced they would appeal due to the contradictory statements made by the prosecution witnesses.
