PAKISTAN TWO HANGED IN PUNJAB JAILS

19 June 2007 :

a condemned prisoner Muhammad Naeem was hanged in the Multan Central Jail in Pakistan. He had killed two rivals Muhammad Azam Khan and Ali Ahmed on December 11, 1995 over a dispute.
Jail Superintendent Malik Mubashir Ahmed said that he was executed in the presence of a magistrate of Kotadu Khalid Saeed Watto, a medical officer and staff. Body was handed over to his cousin. Javed Akhtar was also hanged for murder in Dera Ghazi Khan District Jail. The court had sentenced him to death when he killed his wife’s maternal cousin.
