one prisoner was hanged in the central prison of Semnan (northern Iran) for of drug trafficking. According to the Iranian newspaper Asr-e-Iran, the prisoner was identified as A. T., from Sorkhas. He was sentenced to death by the Semnan Revolutionary Court on charges of carrying 952.3 kilograms of condensed heroin.(Sources: Asr-e-Iran, 04/01/2012)
