One man was hanged in the prison of Shiraz (southern Iran), reported the state run Iranian news agency Fars. According to the report the prisoner who was not identified by name, was 45 year old and was convicted of buying, possession and trafficking of 294 kilograms of cannabis and 1,5 kilograms of crack. The prisoner had been sentenced to life-time in prison, 360 million rials of fine, 50 lashes and execution. The execution was carried out early in the morning.
