15 January 2014 :

one man was hanged in public in Saveh (southwest of Tehran), reported the state run Iranian news agency ISNA. The man who was identified as “Mehrdad A.” (40 year old) originally from Kermanshah province (western Iran), was convicted of murdering two people with a “Kalashnikov rifle” in 2010 in Saveh. He was sentenced to “twice retribution” in public, and his death sentence was carried out publicly in Hedayat area of Saveh.
